Shin Jonghak is the rival of Kim Suho, originally one of the protagonists of The Novel's Extra, he becomes a major supporting character in the story due to Kim Hajin's influence.

He has an arrogant and cold personality. He only acknowledges those who he believes is strong and at the same level or above him.
Personality[]
As a child of a chaebol family, he is a narcissist and an elitist, because of this he cannot let anyone be above him. He always cares about Chae Nayun, and hate to see her getting hurt. Jonghak usually make a sarcastic remark when he feels inferior to other people. Shin Jonghak loves to brag about his grandfather, Shin Myungchul whenever the chance comes. By the end he opens up about his inferiority complex after hsi conversation with his grandfather.
History[]
Shin Jonghak’s ancestor was said to be a prime minister who served a past king whilst Shin Jonghak’s grandfather, Shin Myungchul, was a Hero who was revered for helping people after Outcall.
